Force Information Systems Limited (FIS) was formed in 1988 to develop solutions for the Police Market, the founding members having already spent some years working in this arena. During this period FIS have developed, or helped others develop, almost the complete range of applications suitable for Police Forces in the UK.

In addition, FIS have supplied a variety of bespoke intelligence database products for a variety of commercial and charitable organisations who have a requirement to maintain information about theft and fraud related activities.
